Every company has a story of where they've been. Here is an overview of our journey from the past 25 years!
Bus Ride and National Bus Trader published the 25 year celebration of Village Tours! New ownership, same old Village Tours & Travels
2005 - Village celebrates its 25th anniversary with a tour to Branson and St. Louis. Over 560 people, filling 13 coaches, come along on a trip that included a show, riverboat cruise, and private railcars. The event was featured on the front cover of two major trade publications, Bus Ride and National Bus Trader.
2000 - Village Charters is sold to Norman and Jeff Arensdorf. No major operational changes are made by the new ownership.

1997 - Village adds its first Prevost to the fleet. The newly designed H3-45 is the first coach in the Village fleet not to be painted blue and white. A new "splash" logo is now present on the coach. Village Tours adds a new 45 footer charter bus to the fleet

1993 - Village adds its first 45' coach to the fleet. A 1993 MCI 102 DL3, unit #116.
1989 - Village Charters ( now operating under the names Village Tours, Village Travel and Village Charters) opens an office in Oklahoma City, OK) The Office is used primarily to sell domestic motorcoach tours. The new Village Tours compound in Wichita, KS

1984 - Village builds new facilities in the middle of an empty Kansas wheatfield near the corner of 21st and Tyler.
1981 - A second bus is added to the fleet. It continues to transport snow skiers diring the winter months. Both coaches return to Wichita during the Summer and Fall for Wichita-area charters.
Village Tours adds an Eagle Motorcoach
1984 - Village Charters is incorporated. A new Eagle motorcoach is purchased and is dispatched to Denver to transport snow skiers from the airport to the ski slopes. Village operates in Colorado under the name Alpine Village Tours.
